Spring Seeds for Planting
With spring comes all the excitement of new life - in nature, warmer weather and brighter days. In our lives, it means more time outdoors, shedding our winter layers and preparing for the much anticipated summer season.
These writing prompts are designed to help you harness the earth's natural energy in this time to breathe new life into our desires and manifest them into reality.
Thank you, winter. Take a moment to pause and reflect on the winter season. What did it teach you, and what were you grateful for within this time?
Spring in your own words. What does spring mean for you? Think about all you love, and perhaps do not love about this transitional season. How are you feeling going into spring this year?
Tap into the change in season. Envision the snow melting, allowing for new ideas to ‘sprout’. What is something in your life that you’d love to see sprout this spring, even just a tiny bit? Additionally, what would you like to plant now to see sprout later on?
Embracing new patterns. Winter is often thought of as the ‘sleeping season’ where we are more quiet and putting our resources toward getting through the cold months. With the arrival of spring, is there a habit that you’ve been thinking of starting that can finally take place in your daily/weekly life? Why are you excited about starting this new habit?
Shed your winter coat. What can you let go of now that the darker, cold hibernation season is coming to an end? It can be both something you are glad to be done with, or even something you may miss.
Spring is the season of creation. And we are all creators in our own way. Think of what you love to create and why. Make a plan as to what you can create (or even start to create) this week.
