Training yourself to see the good in life, and feel gratitude for all of life’s many joys and lessons really does pay off in helping you feel happier and more satisfied with the life you have. Which in turn can help attract even more good things into your life! Imagine that!
These prompts are intended to help you down that path, and look at things through a grateful lens to flex that gratitude muscle!
Appreciate yourself! Name 10 things about yourself (qualities, accomplishments, traits, habits, you name it) that you are grateful for and love that you have.
People. There are people in our lives who can fill our cup and make us feel great just being around them. Name one person in your life who gives you that feeling - how do they do it, and how do they make you feel?
Career. Our work is a significant part of our lives from graduation to retirement. What are the aspects of your career path that you are grateful for? What are the things in your current job you appreciate?
On The Daily. Rewiring our brain to form new positive neural pathways is something we can work on daily. What is something in your life you notice daily that you are grateful for? It can be something different everyday, but take a moment to note it down.
Loving the Lessons. We all go through hard times, and although we may not embrace them, often the gift they leave behind is the lesson or strength we gain by going through it. What was one time in your life that you felt was difficult but you came out better for it?
